The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is a rodeo unlike any other as its sole purpose is to support the military community in and around Colorado Springs with its non-profit vision. In true American spirit, the PPoBR has celebrated over seventy-five years of western heritage and all profits go to support local military charities. In 2014, PPoBR took a new approach to its rodeo and adopted an open invitational format. The multi-set progressive format culminates in an exciting two-man shoot-out round where the largest checks in the rodeo's history will be presented to top cowboys and cowgirls.
“My hat goes off to Cinch for their generous support of this event… You really put us contestants at the top of your priority list and it showed. Thank you! Thank you! For taking a chance with this bold and innovative move to take the sport of rodeo to a new level. You absolutely set the bar for those who will be sure to follow.” –Ann Peterson, Barrel Racer (July 30, 2014)
“Pikes Peak or Bust was a great rodeo! It was an honor to be able to compete. Thanks for the invite and I hope I will get the chance to compete there again next year! Again, thanks for the opportunity!” -Troy Callaway, Steer Wrestler (July 13, 2014)
